Great Warm Well Made Coat

I bought this coat without actually seeing it in a store and it's all as described in the product details. Incredibly warm with loads of pockets for just about anything you need to carry around with you. Only downsides: hood could be a bit deeper and doesn't stay on if you're facing any wind; the other thing is it's bulky, but that's the price you pay for real warmth on a very cold day; lastly, I had some trouble with the zipper getting stuck, but that's fixed now. Otherwise, it seems very durable, and for me, the sizing was just right. Others have complained about the size running large, but that was not my experience. It arrived very quickly. The reason to buy this coat over another is that it's really, really warm on a frigid day, since the lining is almost all goose down, and it looks like it will last over the years.

Only North Face from now on

One of the warmest coats I have ever own. A bit bulky for bus/train rides, but an awesome coat.

My husband loves his coat! Lots of pockets, great hood and face mask. Keeps him nice and toasty!

Attractive Coat

I ordered this coat on-line because it is an attractive coat...unfortunately, it does not look attractive on me. This coat is heavy and runs a little large. It would be a very warm coat but I returned it. Again, a very attractive coat but not for me.

I Love this Parka/Jacket

Hey-I moved to Chicago and had a decent LL Bean coat but knew that it was not up to a Chicago winter. Mid-December I purchased this medium sized coat. I am 5'10" about 175lb. It fits amazing. The jacket is so incredibly warm and comfortable. The pockets are located in the right areas. The hood is awesome. It fits amazing. I would be swimming in a large size of this jacket so unless you are a big guy--don't order that size, I would say a 5'9" or 5'11" or 6'0 would be great in the medium as well. This jacket is worth every dime--save $700 bucks vs. buying the Canada Goose--just as good!

Fits great and Im a big guy. True to the size. Definitely a great buy! Would recommend to anyone who wants to be warm in the winter
