My favorite carryon

Make sure you understand your sizing needs!
Thought this would be perfect as a carry-on, but I just had to check this bag last week because it was 2 inches over and the airline (United) would not let me squeeze/compress down the luggage. This was a domestic flight and I think that even with their caveat, the North Face needs to shave an inch off in width and depth to be safe. My having to gate check this bag cost me as much as this piece of luggage, unfortunately.

One of the Best Carry-on Bags You Can Buy!
Just got back from a trip to New Zealand and I combined this one with a 28 inch Rolling Thunder check-in. While the length and width dimensions of this carry-on are slightly over what New Zealand air permits, the ability to squish down the pack depth allowed me to keep it within measure measurement parameters. The handlebar and wheels, along with the side loops, make this very easy to lift into an overhead luggage compartment – definitely a worthwhile purchase!

I would not buy this again
The handle you have to pull up requires 2 hands, there are 2 buttons to extend and shorten the handle. Very inconvenient when you have other bags, or are in a hurry. Most wheel bags just have one button at the top of the handle. Bad design.
