Same as it Ever Was

I was so happy to see these boots! I had some original NF pull on boots a few years ago that I wore to death! These are a fancier version of the original black nylon boots I had. I am super excited and even though it is only July I was wearing these around in my house yesterday! Not looking forward to summer ending but I am definitely going to be reaching for these daily once winter sets in. They require no breaking in and the only thing I have as a suggestion is that they make them available in half sizes. I am a true 8.5 and I ordered the nine. If you get these boots you will not regret it. I only wish there were more colors and I would buy more.

I wish I'd listened to the reviews

The Thermoball booties I've owned in the past had narrow ankles. That's a known problem with this style. However, these are so tight that you practically need the jaws of life to get your foot in them. Another problem is the design of the fur trim. It actually comes down in a V so more of your foot is exposed to air and snow than you would think from seeing the photos. I returned them immediately and am still without boots.

I would buy again and again and I did.

I bought for my wife last year a pair in gray and she loves them so I bought my wife new coat in black so I bought them in black this year and guess what she loves them. That was easy!

Just what I wanted

I use the boots for winter wear and being warm. they are durable in the rain + snow. I like the fur lining and keep my toes warm - very important to me. Comfortable for daily wearing to work. North Face always good stuff for me.
