Cute little book with illustrations as well

It’s the nutcracker story what more can be said. The little book is gorgeous though and really loved the way this was printed the cover and bindings. It makes a nice collectible book to read for every Christmas to little ones or for young teens getting interested in reading

The original story is in German, where the godfather’s name is Christian Elias Droßelmeier. That is usually spelled as Christian Elias Drosselmeyer in English.

Lovely sweet edition!

I'd never owned this classic in print before, only had familiarity with the full ballet. If you've someone who is a fan of the ballet, enjoys having books of well loved and known Christmas stories .. absolutely consider this edition as a gift!

A nice collectible book. Beautiful, leather-bound special edition of the Nutcracker story by Alexandre Dumas, the French author. The story that inspired the ballet favorite of all time -- Swan Lake possibly excepted. Good value, especially on sale.
