This book is so amazing! I couldn’t put it down! The story is so well written and it has beautiful descriptions of everything I could just see it all in my mind. As the dresses and the prince were described I could just piece it together in my mind perfectly. This book made me feel like I was living in it. I was absolutely giddy when her and the prince met for the first few times. and even after that too. I’m a sucker for these kinds of romances though so I might be a bit biased. It had me completely sucked in the whole time. I finished it within one and a half days. While in Hawaii!!! no matter how many beautiful wonders I saw, I couldn’t put the dang book down 😂 It was absolutely amazing and I 100% recommend it. Even if you’re not within the age range of 13 to 18 it’s still an amazing read, and I can almost guarantee that you’ll love it. The story of America and Maxon is beautiful and full of twists and turns and will sometimes even make you angry. But in the Best way possible. I think along the way I might’ve accidentally fallen in love with him. Oops. Now I expect you to run all the way to the store and buy this book right now. You won’t regret it.

Dystopian Addiction
I had heard about this series for a while and thought I'd give the first book a try. I am glad I did! What if you had to choose between the love of your life and taking care of your family? That is exactly what happens at the beginning of this dystopian story that feels like a combination of Cinderella and The Hunger Games. I love America's character and spunk. I also love the character growth you see her go through in this book and can't wait to see what happens next. I know who I'm rooting for and can't wait to see how it all turns out!

Review
I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good romantic and dramatic story. Its descriptive scenes are painted out in front of you and the world building feel makes the story come to life. Once I started reading, I found it hard to put down. I quickly finished this book in two days and became addicted immediately. The romance, drama, and action of the story was interesting and continually grabbed my attention. The dystopian world was one to easily get immersed in. The book being the first in a five book series makes it one to easily love, it was hard to resist reading the rest. Overall, The Selection is a good read for anyone who appreciates a captivating romance story.

OBSESSED
Best series ever!! I could read these over and over again. I loved the protagonist, a sweetheart despite the worst of her flaws, and the romance is perfect. If you love anything royalty, with a down-to-earth protagonist, any hint of love triangles or swoon-worthy love interests, this is the series for you. I can't say enough good about it.

Couldn’t put it down
The Selection series is the best series of books I’ve ever read from fiction, however the last two books were a tad predictable. I would only recommend the first three books.

Favourite book (so far)
I love this book. Out of all i have read so far, it's my favourite. 5/5. I love America's personality, her family (especially May), Maxon <3. Suitable for young readers.
