$32.50
Stop-and even reverse!-age-related weight gain and muscle loss with the first-ever weight-loss plan specifically designed to shrink your belly, extend your life, and create your healthiest self at mid-life and beyond. You don't have to gain weight as you age. That's the simple yet revolutionary promise of The Whole Body Reset, which uncovers why standard diet and exercise advice stops working for us as we approach midlife-and reveals how simple changes to the way we eat can halt, and even reverse, age-related weight gain and muscle loss. The Whole Body Reset presents stunning new evidence about the power of "protein timing" for people at midlife-research that blows away current government guidelines, refutes the myth of slowing metabolisms and "inevitable" weight gain, and changes the way people in their mid-forties and older should think about food. The Whole Body Reset explains in simple, inspiring terms exactly how our bodies change with age, and how eating to accommodate those changes can make us respond to exercise as if we were twenty to thirty years younger. Developed by AARP, tested by a panel of more than 100 AARP employees, and approved by an international board of doctors, nutritionists, and fitness experts, The Whole Body Reset doesn't use diet phases, eating windows, calorie restriction, or other trendy gimmicks. Its six simple secrets and scores of recipes are easy to follow, designed for real people living in the real world.

Highly recommended
More than a "diet book," this plan helps re-adjust your thinking about eating and exercise. I didn't even use many of the recipes, just incorporated the ideas and some new ingredients and combinations into breakfast and lunch. For dinner I just ate moderately. I've tried all my life to quit sugar - this book helped me do what I thought was impossible, without feeling deprived. Adding protein increased my energy level, so I exercised more. So far I've dropped 20 pounds, lost my potbelly, and feel much better. If you're over 50 and need to get more fit, give it a try!

Terrific Guide to a Healthier Me
got the opportunity to be in the test the Whole Body Reset. Believe it or not, I started on December 1, probably the worst time to start a new program. But it ended up being the best time to teach me how to not be on a diet but to learn how to eat right for the long term. There was Christmas, my birthday, a trip to Florida and New Year's. I followed all the tips and it not only got me through but it reinforced the tools I needed to reset. I felt better. I slept better. I got more exercise. And by the time I hit January I was ready to really jump in. I lost 12 lbs. I set a schedule for my exercise and I was able to plot out protein in my meals. I am happy with my progress. I recommend it highly recommend for folks like me who want long haul results.

Personal testimony
I can personally attest to the protein factor. I am a 55 year female who was able to trial test this program and lost 30 lbs over six months. I am a previous fitness trainer and exercise physiologist who gained 30 after I turned 40 years old. I have always exercised daily, but the exercise alone wasn't keeping the weight off anymore. How did it work for me? I was invited to test the Whole Body reset as an employee of AARP. I was skeptical at first, but wanted a new motivation to drop the extra weight - so why not! I began the pilot and made a commitment to a long-term goal of eating healthy. I found the 25 grams of protein each day before noon was essential for curbing my appetite for the daily. I set myself at 1700 calories daily - I never gave up the foods I loved and made room for a daily sweet treat within my calorie goals. Just had to give up those fries if I wanted some ice cream. My true weakness! Over a few short weeks the pounds just started shedding off. I added collagen protein to my coffee to get extra protein in the morning. Used my iwatch to track my activities and myfitnesspal to track my food. I did buy a food scale to control the portions and found that I like big servings. There is no magical weight-loss program, the magic in within you to make a commitment to change.
