#1 New York Times Bestseller – Soon to be a Major Motion Picture starring Amy Adams, Julianne Moore, and Gary Oldman – Available on Netflix on May 14, 2021"Astounding. Thrilling. Amazing. " —Gillian Flynn"Unputdownable. " —Stephen King"A dark, twisty confection. " —Ruth Ware"Absolutely gripping. " —Louise PennyFor readers of Gillian Flynn and Tana French comes one of the decade's most anticipated debuts, published in forty-one languages around the world and in development as a major film from Fox- a twisty, powerful Hitchcockian thriller about an agoraphobic woman who believes she witnessed a crime in a neighboring house. It isn't paranoia if it's really happening . . . Anna Fox lives alone—a recluse in her New York City home, unable to venture outside. She spends her day drinking wine (maybe too much), watching old movies, recalling happier times . . . and spying on her neighbors. Then the Russells move into the house across the way- a father, mother, their teenaged son. The perfect family. But when Anna, gazing out her window one night, sees something she shouldn't, her world begins to crumble and its shocking secrets are laid bare. What is real? What is imagined? Who is in danger? Who is in control? In this diabolically gripping thriller, no one—and nothing—is what it seems.

4.5/5!

The book itself was really good! There were some parts where when the twist and turns happened, it was kind of predictable. In a sense, it reminded me of My Silent Patient with the plot twists. I know this became a feature film. Although I love Amy Adams, I recommend to just read the book. The film doesn’t really do the book justice (majority of movies/films are like that to books!).

Compelling, intense,a must read

The Woman in the Window by A.J Finn Anna Fox is living alone in seclusion unable to leave her house. She sips wine and watches the neighbors through her window. A new family (the Russell's) moves in across the park, which captures her attention. Then one day she witnesses a crime and tries to sort out what happened. Questing her sanity, not knowing what is real (what) is imagined and who is in danger. She is determine to uncover the truth, at any cost. A fast paced compelling psychological thriller with twists, turns and secrets revealed. With plenty of shocking surprises I was hooked from the first page until the end. Overall I found The Woman in the Window very enjoyable. I highly recommend to those who enjoy thrilling (psychological) reads.

Great Book

I’m not going to lie, it started out a little slow, but when the action started… absolutely incredible. One of the best books I’ve read.

Great unique story!

I bought this book after I watched the movie. I enjoyed the movie a lot so naturally needed to read the book as well. Sometimes I have a hard time with reading after watching due to the movie characters take over the book but in this case there was no problem. I loved every second of this book and finished it within a few days of starting it. This will not disappoint!

Kept Me Engaged!

I truly enjoyed this book the entire way through. I felt I was there with the character in the house. Interesting story line and was pleased with the ending of the book. Enjoyed the book more than the movie (as usual) suggest reading the book before watching the movie.
