We have had this set, with serving bowls and platters, for five years. Elegant enough for a formal dinner, but we use these as our every day . We haven't chipped one piece yet! Subtle, but beautiful design.

Beautiful but chips
We’ve had our Loft dishes, bowls and mugs for almost 10 years now. They are beautiful and elegant. However, the edges of the plates and bowls chip easily. 80% of our dishes & bowls now have a chip on the edges. We have the circular bowl and the oval bowl, and they both chip easily. I’ve been debating whether to just replace the chipped pieces but I am leaning towards replacing them with a different set that aren’t as fragile. The mugs however have no chips. Hooray for that!

beautiful but chips easily and plates are not flat
i've been using a set i bought from Bloomingdales 9 years ago. the plates are unpleasant to use since they are somewhat sloping, so saucy foods pool in the middle. worse,i have 10 place settings, and all but 2 of my salad plates are chipped. the mugs are all chipped, and half of the bowls are chipped. i'm begrudgingly looking to replace the set and figured i'd write a review now!

Good looking but chips easily
The plates are simple with a modern design. The circular pattern is subtle but gives a little interest. They look more expensive than they are. BUT, they've chipped easily. Id recommend if you think you'll hand wash.

Perfect white dinner ware
We love this set. Bought several years ago and keep adding on. Chipping is minimal, color stays true white, nice set to mix and match with other white or colored pieces from other lines. we use it every day. 1 minor gripe is the mugs are not perfect, a narrower mug with a lower handle would be perfect. But, i have other mugs that look great with this line so it's all good.

Everyday, high-quality, elegance... fine porcelain
I purchased a basic set of these over 6 years ago and it's still going strong. These truly are a fine porcelain product which will not stain or chip. Even better, this is a staple for Bloomingdales. I've been able to to come back and expand my set many times. Definitely dishwasher safe. For the price you can go wrong.

High end everyday porcelain dinner/serveware
You cannot go wrong with this high end/fired porcelain dinnerware made in Germany for your everyday use. Have a large set and frequently add new serveware and other pieces. Never had a chip from our high end dishwasher, hand washing or stacking in cabinets. Mixes and matches well with other colored/patterned Rosenthal patters. The coupe style is timeless, yet modern and curved perfectly for plating food. Love them. Will never give them up!

Cool and Great
My fiance and I picked these out for our wedding. We were lucky enough to receive the whole set with fun add on items. We love them. They do stack a bit funny in the dishwasher, but we haven't had any chips. We love how we can mix and match all the fun pieces. Overall a great set.
