Wish it fit

Nice leather shoe, but... the vamp was so low I couldn't get my foot into the shoe. The shoe also has to be returned to mfg... but no packing slip, contact info or return address.

The shoes have soul but no sole!

Shoes look good. Reasonable quality leather. The shoes are a bit flimsy compared to similar by Cole Haan and I'm not sure how long the rubber sole will last. My first wear outside for a couple mile walk around Denver, the heel is already showing wear. Now, i don't walk perfectly and my heels tend to wear out on one side but a shoe shouldn't show wear after a couple miles. That said, I rate the shoe a 4 Star because the shoe looks good, has a comfortable gel like insert and for the $$$ it is a solid value even if I only get 1 year out of them. So, pretty good value compared to price but don't confuse these shoes with CH or Allen Edmonds or any other higher end shoe. To me, cole Haan is kind of "middle of the road", the shoe I'm rating here is a tick or two below that.
