Great with a few issues
I wear these boots daily. Have gotten several compliments. I have damaged ankles and these provide excellent support. The top brass hooks are too narrow and fray the laces. Had to use a bolt cutter to open them and two eventually broke off. Would be perfect with better sized hardware.

Nice boots, but eyelet fell out
Bought these as a Christmas gift. My son wears them very rarely as he goes to school online. The very top hook eyelet on the left boot has already fallen out. Working on an RMA at the moment. I hope they will honor the warranty with no hiccups as my son really loves these boots!!

I have bought Timberland shoes and boots for many years...always pleased with the fit and quality. The last two pair of 6" Balanger boots were too tight across the instep...I have a high instep...the quality of the boots was very nice...in fact, extremely nice. I was very disappointed in returning them, but I won't give up, I'll keep on shopping with Timberland.

Overall Good Quality
May feel just a bit bigger than usual, but that might just be the the design of the boot itself. They seem sturdy enough for casual wear, even some formal/casual wear.

Look sharp and are super comfortable right out of the box
Took a 2 mile walk on sidewalk and asphalt the day they arrived and was stoked at how comfortable they were without any break in.

Not true to the size; Disappointing
My first order did not came so I had to placed another one for this one. Been reading on the reviews and thought it would be a true to the size. I ordered 9.5M since my husband wears 9.5 M found out this is way too big. I will have to try and order 8.5M and see if this fits. Glad they have a free returns. Since they don't have exchnage online. Now, I had to return this one and order another one in a different size. I just hope the refund is faster. 5 stars on the customer service she was very helpful and responsive.
