Easy-wearing boots
I like that these boots are sleeker looking that similar offerings from other makers; the soles are lower in profiles, so less clunky-looking. When I first put them on, they felt a bit stiff but quickly softened. No need for break-in period. While the side zip is very convenient for frequent wear, and the overall aesthetic of the boot is great, I can't understand why the zipper is brass/gold in color while the eyelets are silver. It definitely detracts from the appeal for me.

Nice looking boot
Great looking boot. Thought the side zip would be easier getting on and off. May need a little break in time. Comfortable, but could use a touch more arch support. Good boot.

I will never
The leather is really low Quality And really dry I love timberland boots. I own about 15 different pairs of boots. One of the thing the I like the most is the soft And comfortable leather but this boot are Quite the opposite

Excellent and Stylish
These boots are great. I took the advice on the description and ordered a full size smaller than my regular size since these run big. They fit fine, and the zipper and strap in back make them easy to get on. Plus, they just look good. I bought them in black, and for boots they are dressy enough to probably wear in any situation. All leather and really solid. I'll be wearing these for a long time.

The Zipper
I own several side-zip boots; most notably two pairs of nice Aldo boots and two pairs of Belleville boots. These boots are good quality by most standards- the Bellevilles being berry compliant (Combat) and completely made in the USA. That being said, the zipper on these boots is beyond comparison to even the American made Belleville combat boots. It definitely surprised me! Although it does not zip as smoothly (probably due to the much larger teeth) it looks to be much more durable and a is YKK. I will attach pictures for comparison at a later date... since I am at work. Side note; use beeswax to lube your zippers. As for the boot itself: It is a nice hard harness leather ,which I appreciate, and it will break-in nicely. They do look more combat that I thought they would but, again, I'm cool with that. As they can be dressed up or down.
