Works well, but needs to be warmed to apply
This wax works well, but it is extremely hard and nearly impossible to apply straight out of the can. It needs to be warmed up; 15-20 sec in the microwave work wonders. Once it is warm it becomes soft, is easy to apply and distributes easily. This little trick should be included on the instructions on the container.

Timberland has a great selection of shoes and boots. The only problem is the newer products don't come in large sizes. Most young men have larger sizes. There are not too many popular name brand boots and shoe companies making larger sizes and width. They will sell...

I would definitely buy this again it's my second pair
I am a mechanic and they are the most comfortable pair of boots I have found. They also last the longest. I usually go through a pair of boots in 6 months these are like every two years so fair.

EXTREMELY HARD WAX
I am not sure how anyone is even able to scrape this out of the container - the sponge was useless. The wax is so hard, and when I dug some out and put it on the boot, it made no visible difference. I expect more from this company given the amount of money they charge.

Major Downgrade from Old Formula
I absolutely love my previous Waximum product so I purchased a few of these as gifts for friends and one for myself. Unfortunately Timberland changed the formulation and packaging of the product and I believe it to be worse in most ways. The old product has a petroleum jelly like consistency and can be easily applied with a rag or sponge, while the new product is significantly harder in consistency and more difficult to apply. The old product easily shows up where applied, unlike the new one, giving me some doubts as to whether the level of protection is the same. The new product has a smaller container that is difficult to access with the provided sponge, unlike the old wider container. Overall I am bummed because I believe the old product single handedly added two years of life to my boots - after applying it they looked brand new. The new formulation does not have the same effect when applied. It's too bad Timberland changed such a great product!
