Tom Ford Black Orchid Reserve feels like a richer, smoother take on the original and I’ve been loving how luxurious it wears on my skin. The opening hits with that bold truffle note but it quickly melts into a dark floral blend of orchid and ylang ylang that feels sensual without being overpowering. As it settles the chocolate, patchouli, and tonka create this warm, creamy depth that makes the scent feel both elegant and addictive. It lasts hours on me and the whole experience comes across more refined and modern than the classic Black Orchid, still dramatic but softer around the edges in the best way. Every notes hits differently every hour
Tom Ford is such a elegant and classic fragrance line, I was super excited to try this new fragrance. When first smelling I almost thought this could be for male or female. It's strong but not overpowering. It's a fragrance that you want to wear for special occasions or date night. My husband actually thought the scent was for him and had to show him that it was perfume. The plum is not as strong as the Patchouli. Does have a spiciness to it. Once it dries down you can smell other notes throughout the day. Last for hours. I received this product for free from Tom Ford for testing and review purposes. I will say I be savoring and repurchasing for family this Christmas!
