Smells like pine needles!

I received this product for free from Influenster and Tom Ford in exchange for my honest review. I wish I could say something nice about this fragrance but honestly it’s one of the worst things I’ve ever smelled before as a cologne. It straight up smells like wet pine needles or wet firewood. I live in the Pacific Northwest and I’ve gone camping a million times. Rain is obviously a thing here and this smells like a soggy campground where everything got soaked by a heavy downpour the night before. So if you can imagine a slimy, pulpy type of rotting vegetation in a camp ground…this would be it. I understand the name is translated to Moroccan Wood but it’s more like a lumberjack nightmare. I would not recommend this product to my friends because I wouldn’t want them smelling like an old campfire.

Unisex Fragrance

I was beyond excited to receive this fragrance from Influenster and Tom Ford to test. It is listed as a unisex fragrance with notes of thuya wood, cedar wood, and peppercorn. My husband and I argued over whether it smelled more masculine or feminine and I really do think it is unisex. While I don’t hate it, it is not my favorite and is definitely a more mature scent. The packaging and bottle are beautiful. I was happy to try it out!

Smells Amazing

Although this is unisex I let my husband and grandson who lives with me try it. I was super excited to try this one and let me tell you it smells amazing not to strong just right. My husband and grandson really liked it also I totally recommend this one.

Rich aroma

When I first used @tomFord #boisMarocain it was super stout with rich aromas, but as the day went on it settled into a lighter sultry scent. A little goes a long way. I really like the smell of spices and wood it has in it. If you don’t like woody, spicy, or citrus tones I would leave this perfume alone. This is the kind of perfume you share with your man.

Longlasting

I received this complimentary from Influenster and Tom Ford in exchange for my honest review. I absolutely love this packaging. The bottle is sleek and the color is perfect considering it is a woodsy scent. This scent is too woodsy for me, however, my husband loves it. I did notice that smelling it straight from the bottle versus spritzed on the skin is much stronger and smells better once on the skin. I also noticed that the scent lasted all day long. I did get tons of compliments too. Retail price I would not pay for this perfume because it is not for me, but I would pay it for my husband. I feel this one is slightly sweeter than a different Tom Ford perfume I have tried, but it is still too much for my taste.

Nice Scent

I wore this fragrance on a night out to dinner. It is a nice balance of sweet and spicy. The scent lasted long and wasn’t overpowering. I wish I knew it was a bit on the spicier side, as I prefer milder scents- This is definitely a “bold” fragrance.
