This is a go

This is a go to for me. If you like a heavy perfume, that hits you in the face in a sexy way, and that lasts throughout the day this is it!

I loved the original Tom Ford Velvet Orchid so I was very interested in trying the new Lumière version. I sampled it in-store and purchased it immediately. It still reminds me of the original with the warm, spicy florals but a softer version. I do appreciate this fragrance for the most part but as it wears on, it gets softer and as it gets softer I think it loses the warmth of the vanilla, sandalwood, and those other spicy, gourmand notes and then it becomes very rose-forward. That's when I stop enjoying this fragrance. I don't like wearing rose scents at all. However I have to still give it 4 stars because it is a well balanced, wearable, unique fragrance.

love all of the Tom Ford collections....for what I spend on makeup and fragrance, I wish Macys gave out samples like the other dept stores.
