Does not hold up after washing

When I purchased this comforter it was so heavy carrying it out of the store. That should have been a hint. Anyway set the bed up. Looked beautiful, bought nice pillows purchased the sheets which are also from this line. About a few weeks later I decide to take it to the laundromat to wash. My machine although a large capacity not quite large enough. Washed pretty good. Popped it in the large capacity dryer. When I took it out it felt like there were socks inside of it. No no no not socks lumpy misshaped stuffing. It completely lost its shape, looks awful now. So if you decide to wash it my advice is dry in large capacity dryer with dryer balls that may help. Worst comforter I have ever purchased!

Only good thing about this comforter was the color and pattern. Very pretty. But after only months of use, the batting/stuffing shifted. It is all clumped in the middle of the comforter. Flat on the edges and sides. When I make the bed there is a big lump in the middle and nothing on the sides. I am now going to try to return it. Would never purchase another Tommy Hilfiger comforter and I normally like his merchandise.
