Cotton linen blend wrinkly mess after washing

Cotton linen blend feels like it sound, thick enough and covers king bed but not oversized. It basically reaches halfway down the sides but not to the floor. After washing turned into a twisted wrinkly mess and I can't seem to get rid of the wrinkles.
