2 sizes smaller than advertised

I bought it in XL but it might as well be a size Medium. Lately, the sizing for Tommy Hilfiger clothes has been all over the place. Sometimes it's a size too small, sometimes it's true to size, or in this case it'll be 2 sizes smaller. Inconsistent when it comes to the "regular fit" style. It's better to try this on at the store to see for yourself before ordering it online.
