I just received these shoes. Love the look but as a few of the reviewers say, the heel is higher than stated. They feel a bit snug in the width so I won't be able to wear stockings with then yet. Hopefully they will stretch a bit since they are supposed to be leather. I will report back.
quality shoe
I had to buy these on the internet as there are none to try in my local store.These shoes are beautiful, very good quality, classy looking. The heel which some say was too high - well I measured it- it was exactly 3". Unfortunately I had two problems the inside ankle was cut a little high for me and I think it would rub but that is an individual size problem. The other was - what the heck happened with the laces!! The shoes were laced up with the ends of the laces on the inside of the shoe, to make matters worse one of the lace ended near the toe and the other end at the highest point, impossibel to tie a neat bow. As someone noted here the laces have little gold beads on the end, very pretty but it meant that I couldn't take the laces out to redo them! A quality control failure. Sadly I had to return them.
The Genius is in the Details
I love the details that they put on these shoes. The rubber sole has great traction and grips the ground well. I got mine in brown and I really like the slight contrast of colors of the fabric linings on the seam and the brown leather. There are gold buttons with the "Tommy Hilfiger" name on the back and I thought those were such a nice touch. And yes, they are quite comfy too :)
Versatile and Classy.
These shoes look great with everything -- skirts, jeans, etc. They are comfortable, too. I bought the navy. Thinking about purchasing the brown next.
