Not what I expected

This was not I expected. It's narrow… the shoe it self looks very nice. But once I put it on, it felt like my foot was suffocating! I had thin socks on and took them off but to no avail. I'm usually a 9.5 but got the 10 hoping to prevent any issues but here we are. I will be returning the shoes.
