Old fashioned cut

Does not flatter a post-menopausal figure. Too tight in the midriff. Breaks into an a-line below the waist. That gives it a nostalgic but unflattering cut in my opinion. The cut reminds me of a 1950’s house dress. I noticed that right out of the bag, however, to be fair, the color is not a favorite and never worked with my skin coloring so I might have a bias. The fabric is very nice, though. Flows nicely. Very well made.

Arrived Snagged and damaged.

It had potential to be a great spring and summer addition due to the color and style. Fit was good, although the waist rode a little high (that is more of a me issue as Im 5'11"). The material was snagged badly on the right shoulder in 2 places which made it start to unweave and had one snag in the back. Back to the store it goes.

Pretty but snagged

I ordered a size 2. For reference, I’m 5’0 115 lbs athletic build. The fit was perfect and the color is very pretty. Sadly, the very first time wearing it the dress snagged right at the waistline, so I recommend being very careful with what you carry, etc while wearing it. It might have been my purse that snagged it. Regardless, just be careful.
