Not at all slimming

hadn’t read other reviews before order, this is so cute and the chicory is a great color. The “Too thick and fuzzy” review is 100% accurate. In addition, tried it on over a thin base layer only and could feel friction between coat and top in the upper arms (thin and toned). Maybe it was just the material of each garment and not enough indoor humidity. Looked big and boxy in the shoulders and chest-size L and numeric 12 in this brand is always a perfect fit). Oh I wanted to love this coat. Even cinching in the waist it looked as if gained 20 pounds. took a tape measure across the narrowest part, then put on similar style coat and this TH Sherpa definitely was 1 full inch wider! EEK! And I didn’t even cinch the other coat for the comparison. Last, the side pockets are WAY out on the outer hem and felt awkward having to reach so far back to find the opening. Go ahead and order to see if you get a better-looking fit, the color and details are fantastic but maybe add a 2nd choice if you are buying out of necessity.

Great casual jacket. I purchased an XS and it fits true to size. Love the drawstring that enables you to cinch it in and define your waist.
