Orange dress shows curves

I like the look of this dress, but it's just not working for me. It is "slinky" - and not in a good way. It hugs your body and shows curves and undergarment bumps, even my panty line with a half-slip on. I am 5'3" and 125 pounds. I bought the extra-small in the orange "chili" color. I considered exchanging for a size small, but the sleeves and shoulders fit great. The darker navy dress may be more forgiving and not make any body flaws so noticeable. The orange dress is also very lightweight and slightly sheer.

True to Size

I really like the dress. It fits perfect for my size; it’s very giving to curvy women. Doesn’t make me look frumpy cute casual dress.

Strange choice of fabric

I really loved the casual look of this dress and the cut but when it arrived I was surprised by the fabric. It’s extremely thin and feels similar to silk. I wish they would have chosen a different material that’s a bit heavier and thicker that holds its shape better. Will return because it looks very odd on. Both my daughter and I agreed that the fabric ruined the dress. The fabric reminds me of a slinky silk dress shirt that has no shape, definitely not great for this type of dress. The fabric shows every imperfection on your body and highlights it by clinging to those areas. The fabric and the casual dress vibe definitely fight each other and make the dress appear mismatched. dress
