I purchased these shoes to go on a trip to Positano in Salerno, Italy and it is called the vertical island because there are so many stairs. (Like a ridiculous amount of stairs!) I needed a really comfortable pair of sneakers but I am very picky with how they look. My favorite shoes are the slip on Converse but I would’ve ended up in pain with blisters if I wore those so shopping I went!
This shoe is so adorable, I love how easily they slip on, the heel doesn’t get smashed down when you don’t use your hands to pull them on. I wore them for the entire trip and didn’t have one blister, my feet never hurt, it’s almost like they formed to my foot shape. I see reviews saying they felt loose and I agree they did at first but after wearing them for 6 days and walking/climbing nonstop they formed around my foot perfectly.
The color with the iridescent heel is so cute but the shoes did get dirty easily, however, again, I was doing a lot of walking. Overall, I highly recommend these shoes!
