Solid Machine
Been using TG Evolve for about a year. Some improvement are 1. Larger base under tower for more stability 2. Marking on section where handles are connected so that easy to place and install pins 3. For some reason tower is tilted making raising the levels difficult. 4. Proving hooks so that the handles are easier to reach while lying face down on bench Otherwise it’s solid overall machine.

Stable, Versatile, and Smooth
As someone who has a young family and is in medical school, my available time to exercise is VERY limited. This TG makes it possible for me to get a full body workout daily in just about 20-25 minutes. It is so easy to use, extremely versatile, and every movement is smooth. We are living with family during medical school and it’s really nice that this machine folds up and hardly takes any space at all when stored. I would highly recommend the Evolve if you have the budget for it.

Disappointed
Hello, Hello, I am disappointed with the machine. After using the XLT for 8 years I expected better. The machine was designed for a tall user. Level 13 and above is very hard to get on. The weight bar is in the way of getting on. It should be on either end of the glideboard and not in the middle. The ab crunch handles are very hard to mount. Unless you are tall, it is hard to reach the ab handles once your knees are on the glideboard. The biggest problem is raising the glideboard above level 12. It sticks and drags and is very difficult to move it up.Once it is up it is difficult to move it down at first then moving down is good. It appears Total Gym sacrifised functionality for appearance. The original hook and ladder machine was very good. Bryan I am disappointed with this machine. After using the XLT for 8 years I expected better.

Best machine for rehab and exercising!!
I have had my total gym Evolve for about a month now and absolutely love it! I was introduced to TotalGym through physical therapy and decided to invest in one for home use - best decision ever!! It is sturdy and heavy, but I am still able to make the board adjustments without help from my husband. It is a great workout and I think will be useful to keep me in shape for years to come.
