What has happened to umbrella’s? The handle is too small to grip, the main stem feels cheap. Folding is hard & messy. I was looking for a manual umbrella& was hoping this was it. Sadly it was not. Hopefully my current umbrella of 20 years will not be lost. I treasure it dearly.

Although the umbrella is small, that's a convenience for me. It seems stronger than other Totes I have purchased in the past. I assume Totes is always finding ways to improve their products.

When the umbrella works it's fine, but it's takes several attempts to get it to hold open (click into place). It's good size for one person and nicely compact, but the fact that it takes several times to hold open make me worry about its overall quality and durability.

I recently decided to replace my older Totes taupe colored umbrella with a new one. There wasn't anything wrong with it, but it was quite old, and I just thought it could need some updating. I saw the beautiful leopard print one and it was perfect. After all, so many people have black umbrellas, and if they saw my leopard print one, they would know it wasn't theirs and leave it alone. It came very quickly, and I do see the difference in the Neverwet fabric! Don't know how they do it, but it sheds water very quickly, so you don't have puddles of water on the carpet in your car when you fold it up, or on your garage floor when you're letting it dry out. And the automatic open/close feature is a winner. Thanks for a quality product that will probably last longer than me! June in Virginia

Perfect size, I like that it is different from most.

Sadly this was very difficult to open and shut, mainly open. I bought two for gifts but when I opened the first one and fought to get it open, decided to return both. I will consider a larger umbrella in the future. Returned them.

I love Totes auto open/close umbrellas. This year I bought three for my professional daughters' stockings. They loved them!
