Don’t use medium heat

Great looking and pleasantly heavy. I’m a little wary about the stovetop heat setting: my new 3 qt saucepan spotted (pick marks) on medium heat, a disappointment.

Great set

This set seems really great. They are replacing 40 yr old revere ware and misc non-stick pans which I don’t trust for health reasons anymore. Haven’t used them a lot yet but, other than unsightly water spots if I don’t dry them after washing, they are working quite well. Nice and heavy. Using on our new induction range and they heat up very quickly. It’s recommended to use on low to medium heat only and this is not a problem because the induction process seems to heat very efficiently. For most things I start out on medium then turn down to med-low. Cleanup is pretty good too, haven’t had anything super stuck, probably because not using high temp. We have cast iron pans to use for searing so I don’t know how these work for that. These are not meant for oven temps over 350. The price of this set dropped by 75. soon after my purchase and Macys refunded the difference for me. To fill out our set we decided to splurge on a 1 qt saucepan and 8 qt Dutch oven from HexClad which are nonstick and also recommend only using on medium and low heat on the stovetop (though good to 900 in the oven!). Hoping they aren’t toxic.

Beautiful set

Not only is this set gorgeous but it is well made, has a good weight (but not heavy!) to it and cooks evenly. Easy to clean. There is a learning curve if you are not used to stainless cookware but when that is mastered you will have a set that lasts for many years to come. This set was recommended by Food & Wine so I went for it. I’m pleased I did.

Ok

Probably overpriced. Description says it's oven safe for 500 degrees, but the instructions only say 350. Never received my 25% off coupon, and the priced dropped $25 a couple days after I bought mine.

Incorrectly Advertised

These products are being advertised as oven safe at 500 degrees. They are not. The instructions clearly say “oven safe up to 350 degrees.” This kind of defeats part of the purpose for my purchase.
