They had never heard of Shockwave, which is a figure from the beginning time of the transformers comic series. They learned all about him and now have a new favorite. The toy is very great quality and comes with great features. I absolutely recommend this edition of Hasbro transformers.

More for a collection
My son didn’t want to take it out of the box to transform it as he feels it could be a collectible one day. Looking at it, there is good detail. We didn’t see an instructional manual on how to transform it, so that is why my son felt it’s more of a collectible than something he could play with. I can see it breaking easily if someone wasn’t being careful in transforming it because of how much smaller it is than past transformer toys. I would recommend this as more for a collection and not to play with.

Great product!!
Honestly love this figurine! I was initially going to give a 5 star but opted for a 4 star only due to the fact that this is pretty difficult to understand. I as a grown adult was a bit confused on how to actually transform it and too a good amount of time trying to figure that out. That being said the product is very well made and durable as my child is currently in love with it and a bit rough with his toys. The “ray” on it is detachable. All in all a great product!

My 9 yr old loves it
My youngest normally doesn't care for action figures but he has definitely been enjoying this one. Its sturdy, nicely colored, very detailed, and over all "super cool" -says my son. I definitely will be checking out more these toys in the future. Great quality!

Totally beats the original!
I have yet to see the newest movie, but a certain tiny family member has seen everything relating to Transformers and he was so excited about this action figure. Its definetly better made than the ones I grew up with in the 80's. Pasts rotate and fit together easily. His weapon comes apart, which is awesome. Great purple color and a solid construction makes a beloved character even more beloved!

Transformer power!
A nicely made figure that is a great gift for kids who love action figures and transformer toys. The actual figure is medium sized, it’s a nice dark blue color and is not too heavy but is sturdy. Majestic a great gift!

Complicated
This toy was 22 steps! The directions contained pictures only and was complicated to figure out. I would recommend that this be labeled for 12+ instead of of 8+.
