disappointed

Total junk. I've been a long-time Tumi user, and this just failed spectacularly. The paint chipped off within days of use, and the stitching came off after 4 months. For the price point, this should have been made way better.

Key fob broke after just a year of service.

I had previously purchased a version of this keychain and it lasted me a good long while. The only reason I wanted to replace it was because after years of faithful service, the nylon had started to shred (but the material still held on just fine. I replaced it with the same style of key fob, but right from the start it didn't feel the same. Today, as I was pulling my keys from my pocket, I noticed that the clasp that holds onto the fabric came loose (see photo). Tumi was so much more reliable before the Samsonite acquisition.

Nice key fob, wish the paint/color lasted.

Key fob is nice! Functionality is great. I just wish it was a little more heavy duty paint/color wise. (I’ve had it for a few weeks and it’s already peeling/scratching up…

Chain of keys

Love this key piece! Paint has faded off mine after a couple years use, but I love it! I recommend it. I’m about to buy it again.

Great Design/ Poor Quality

I love the design and the functionality. However, for this price point, I am very disappointed that the Black is already scratched off and it hasn't been 30 days of use.

Don’t purchase

Do not waste your money. All the black paint (not the leather strap) is easily scratched off within a couple of weeks. They used to have a brown and blue leather strap with stainless steel, but discontinued the superior version.

Not the quality I was expecting

After a month of use, the black color in the middle part has fallen off, showing the metal beneath it. This was only from everyday use and nothing crazy. I was expecting better quality from Tumi and from a keychain this expensive.

Black Paint Easily Chipped by Keys

Overall, it is a good key fob; it is one of the very few valet fobs offered in the market. However, after only three months of use, the black paint on the center "buckle" has started chipping off due to contact with the keys. The outside edges on mine now have aluminum metal showing through.
