Extremely helpful, LOVE reading it

Don’t listen to the “earthling” that said this book is useless. Us aliens would benefit greatly from this book. I have lost 15 pounds in a little over a month because of this book. Some may believe that this is common knowledge, well I’m one of those people that didn’t fully understand how sickening the American standard diet was. I used to Believe that I was eating so healthy, not realizing that I was eating poison. All my symptoms of GI issues, mental fog, and chronic fatigue were all contributed to my diet. This book makes you more aware of how unhealthy almost everything you buy on the shelf is. Examples are those salad dressings with canola oils or sunflower seed oil. You think a protein shake with no carbs and high protein is great! Until you look on the back and you read the hidden ingredients. I think this book is great! And it helps guide people into a forever changing lifestyle that is easy to maintain. Also, I thought I had a exercise until I felt pain or was exhausted not realizing that is actually harmful to your body. I HIGHLY recommend this book to anyone trying to accomplish an easy healthy lifestyle of eating habits and exercise and overall, just to feel amazing!!

Tons of info on how food interacts with our bodies

I started intermittent fasting awhile ago and have really been enjoy the practice. I wanted to understand more about it though, and this book has lots of info on how fasting affects the body, AND a ton of info on how particular foods affect the body. While it would seem overwhelming if you wanted to “do” everything he’s suggesting, it’s a great place to get info and choose the specific things you want to try and make changes in. I really enjoyed it and will be referencing it through my health journey.

There's nothing new to see here

You can move along folks. There’s nothing new to see here! Two Meals a Day tries to combine the currently fashionable intermittent fasting with a grain-less, processed sugar-free, and no seed oil diet. It also throws in aerobic exercise, journalizing, Marie Kondozing, and orange light only before bedtime. If you were an alien arriving from Europa, this book could catch you up on every major fitness fad. Unfortunately, most Earthlings have already heard of everything mentioned in this book. I also think trying to “fix” all of these things in one twelve-day period is an unachievable goal. While Two Meals a Day may be motivating for some, I need to have at least one original idea per self-help book. Unfortunately, this book fails on even that simple of a criteria. 2 stars. Thanks to Grand Central Publishing and NetGalley for a copy in exchange for my honest review.
