Sizes are wonky. Best try on before purchase

This is the 2nd time I purchased this vest because I thought I had ordered a size S the first time so I wanted to see how the M fits. I normally wear a size S but I didn't like the gap in between the buttons which makes them look small. However, I realized when I ordered it a second time that I ordered a M originally. I compared both shirts, the first M I ordered is smaller than the 2nd M I ordered. The vest is really nice and I like the fit so I decided to keep both.
