Nice quilt, but ….

This quilt is nice and was a great price, but it illustrates the problems of looking at colors online. The color was labeled “sage green.” The picture showed a teal, a green-blue, which is what I needed. The actual quilt is a slate blue, little if any green in it. The result is that it clashes with my bedroom. Returning it would give me such a tiny refund (as I said, it was a great price) that I’m going to keep it and donate.

The quilting stitch is pretty. Quilt is very light so does not offer much warmth. Not worth the original price but not bad for the sales price.

This comforter is beautifully made — the stitching is so lovely I almost feel bad sleeping under it. Just one thing: it’s not exactly soft. Think “elegant heirloom” more than “cozy cuddle.” I love how it looks… I just added a throw blanket so my skin doesn’t file a complaint.
