Nice task light!
I received my first verluix light as a birthday gift 25 years ago. The bulb finally burned out and the cost of a new one was half the price of a new led version, so I opted to upgrade. The new light is very nice with it different colored tones and brightness levels.

SmartLight LED Floor Lamp Review
I bought two SmartLight LED Floor Lamps and just love them. They look nice, were easy to put together and deliver a bright enough light for me to see through my cataracts.

Love it but…..
Love the design and brightness but the stand design is poor. The weighed design falls off when the fixture is lifted and there is no obvious way to tighten it. Be careful with your feet when transporting it!

Switch is poor quality
Loved this lamp! Notice that’s past tense. Bought one in May 2025. Was great, for a few days. Then the touch switches stopped working right. Contacted Verilux, they sent me a replacement promptly. Great! That new one worked great for about 7 months. Then in late December 2025, THAT switch stopped working. I can’t turn it off with the switch, I can’t change the light temperature, and I can’t change the brightness. To turn it on and off, I have to plug and unplug it at the wall. I don’t remember what the warranty period was.

Significant improvement over previous model
We own two of the Fluorescent models, and I bought one as an early Christmas present for the Wife. She loves it, no more warming up and she loves the Kelvin range change option. Great job.
