Contemporary 3-Ply, 3.4-Quart Stainless Steel Sauce Pan

LOVE IT! I recently switched all of our sauce pans, after 20 years and somewhat reluctantly lol, from non-stick to stainless steel. I called the company to verify: the Viking 3-ply contemporary line is not coated with ANYTHING. Just a plain stainless steel cooking surface. The pan cleans up like a dream--very easy--I was a bit worried when making the switch but have been pleasantly surprised. I actually don't usually like the look of stainless steel cookware, but the mirror finish and arched handle on this pan are really charming and have changed my tune entirely. It looks very nice on my stove/counter (I use it frequently). The weight is solid--no flimsy metal here, with excellent heat distribution. Viking knocked it out of the park with this one! I also bought their smaller 2 qt pan and their 8 qt stock pot and have been very pleased. These pans will last a lifetime, and are worth every penny.

I love this dutch oven! I will definitely be purchasing more of the Viking cookware. Food cooks evenly and holds its temperature. I would suggest reading the care brochure before using it.

I like this Dutch Oven for it's quality material, the size and shape is what I am looking for to replaced my old pot. Plus I got it during the Home Sale, it is a bargain to me!

I love this Made In America 5.2 quart pot. I had first bought a cuisinart 5-quart pot before purchasing the Viking covered Dutch Oven. I brought it home and my husband said it was a piece of junk. It felt like it was made of tin. I returned it and found this Viking brand at Macy's. I made a pot of sauce with meatballs and sausages. There was no burnt sauce on bottom of pan. The lid has two tiny holes for steam to escape. I paid much more but remember the saying, "You Get What You Pay For!" I love me Viking Pot !!! Thank goodness I listened to my husband.
