This is a really nice pan! I am so happy I purchased this pan after debating if it was too big or how often would I use it, and other silly questions. This is the Goldilocks of pans of size. Perfect weight, cleans up great and actually makes food taste better which makes me a happy cook. Buy this pan, you won’t regret it.

High quality
This is a roasting pan for roasting small turkeys, turkey breasts, whole chickens. leg of lamb, whole hams or pork roasts. I tried to put a frozen, 16 pound turkey in the bottom section on top of the rack but it did not fit and if I forced it in after thawing, the sides would have been smashed against the sides. Therefore, I recommend this for a turkey about 12-13 pounds, possibly 14 pounds. The pan's measurement from the inside bottom of the pan to the top of the bottom rim is 4 1/2 inches high. The height of the top is 2 1/2 inches, so a turkey could measure only about 5 1/2 to 6 inches high to fit in this pan when covered, as the top of the pan is flat and not domed. If the pan were larger, I would have rated it 5 * but it can only fit a small turkey because of its size. I would have paid much more to get a larger pan of this quality.

I bought this about 3-4 years ago I use it about 8 times a year and it still looks brand new. Today I roasted lamb in tomato sauce for about 6 hours, I should have taken a photo of how dirty the lid was, splattered baked on tomato sauce and oil. It was black. It washed off with water and my soft scrub brush. It’s amazing. I love this and can’t recommend it enough.

Beautiful toasting pan
This is a beautiful pan. It’s well made. Not too heavy. It does take a bit of elbow grease to keep it looking bright and shiny. I recommend Bar Keepers friend.
Could be better.
I love that this roaster is tough and that the lid fits fairly securely. I did not like that I cannot lift the lid with one hand to add vegetables and other ingredients to the pot during cooking. Moreover, the handles on the pan and the lid are positioned too close together to allow easy lifting with hot pads or oven mitts! Lastly, the roasting rack is so large that vegetables cannot be placed around the meat in direct contact with the drippings.
