Poor design-burn hazard-do not buy

Purchased this kettle to replace an older one. We use a kettle on a daily basis. When heating water the handle on this kettle will get hot enough to burn your hand. This is unacceptable, especially for a high end model. Also the shape of the handle makes it very awkward to pour out water. Overall a dangerous and incompetent design which not only motivates to write a negative review but also never purchase another product from this brand.

Could be better

Handle gets very hot, even plastic part on the whistle gets hot. The quality and design very nice. Comfortable to hold, pick up the lid. Only big minus for me is that handle get hot. I am keeping because I bought it on sale, otherwise I would return.

Kettle medal Handle dangerous.

I just opened, The handle on the metal handle on the kettle is slippery and will cause hard to anyone when it get hot. . This is not a copper handle as described in the description.

Great kettle but handle gets very hot and potholder is needed to use it. Also could benefit from an internal strainer so the tea leaves to pour out out.

Recommend the Viking Tea Kettle

I really love this tea kettle, for the following reasons; 1) the handle is designed so the steam doesn't contact the handle. 2) It is great to have the cover over the nozzle so not to get hot from the steam. The following two reasons seam simple but when you don't have them, it makes a difference. This is the second high end tea kettle that I recently purchased recently, I recommend the Viking Stainless Steel tea kettle.
