My Viking kettle

Needs a little olive oil to bring back the shine

I’ve been using this for a week and am very happy with it overall. I did have one concern that has since been resolved — the rose-coloured body of the kettle marked quite badly from condensation and water stains, and I couldn’t remove them at first. However, I found that using a little olive oil brought it back to looking like new. Other than that, the kettle is beautiful, looks gorgeous on my stove, and also helps save benchtop space.

Could be better

It’s not comfortable for use kettle, because handle is round and slips from the hand. When kettle is hot- the handle gets hot also. You have to use towel to grab the handle and kettle is trying to slip from your hand because of uncomfortable handle and position of the handle. Color also not so shiny as on the picture and comes off with time and use. After the color comes off kettle doesn’t look pleasant.

Poor design-burn hazard-do not buy

Purchased this kettle to replace an older one. We use a kettle on a daily basis. When heating water the handle on this kettle will get hot enough to burn your hand. This is unacceptable, especially for a high end model. Also the shape of the handle makes it very awkward to pour out water. Overall a dangerous and incompetent design which not only motivates to write a negative review but also never purchase another product from this brand.

Great pot very hot handle

Excellent nice looking pot to boil water, well built, fast boil but CAUTION the handle will get as hot as the rest of the pot so gloves are a must, that's why 4 stars rater than 5.

Beautiful and Quality Kettle

The kettle looks good and appears to be well-made with quality components. The handle is comfortable to use and didn't get too hot at all while using it. At half capacity it boiled on medium heat in just under 10 minutes. It's a little overkill for heating water but at least it's a quality product and I like it!
