Ratings & Reviews

Here's what customers think
  • The product is generally well-made, with an attractive design and functional features like a loud whistle and clear lid.
  • Some users report issues with the handle becoming extremely hot during use, requiring the use of a pot holder or towel to safely pour.
  • A few customers have experienced the paint peeling after light use.
  • Overall, the product is viewed as stylish and well-constructed, but the hot handle appears to be a common design flaw that detracts from the user experience for many.

Disappointed in the purchase that some of the copper finish is worn away on a brand new item

Beautiful Tea Kettle

I ordered this black tea kettle to replace one that has faded and peeled badly. I hope this one holds up better! I love the size and weight of this tea kettle.

SUPER HOT!

I'm very disappointed in this purchase. Despite being a very pretty kettle, the science behind it is mind boggling. The kettle handle gets SUPER hot once heated and if you don't remember to grab a pot holder you are in deep trouble. My mum dropped it this morn, spilling hot water everywhere and barely escaping getting severely burned. Unfortunately, I didn't open and use immediately and am only discovering now and the return window has closed. This is very disturbing.

This kettle makes me boiling mad

The kettle looks great but the handle gets so hot that you would burn yourself badly if you didn’t use an oven mitt. Viking claims the handle stays cool! I would love to invite the CEO for tea and ask him to boil the water. Does anybody at Viking actually test their product?
