Excellent bowl

The bowl is well made. I'm very happy with the purchase. I use it to store fruit on the countertop and it works great for that purpose. The one caveat is that the color is listed as white. If you are looking for a bright white this is not it. I would say it is more of a off white/cream color than a bright white.

Plain is the name of the game

Don't be fooled by the plain design and drab color. These bowls are perfect for making your home cooked meals gorgeous. You eat with your eyes first. I actually prefer to use these over the plates! Finally I have a complete dining set by Villeroy & Boch! Also they have an amazing lifetime replacement policy. When Bloomingdales had their Home Sale, I couldn't resist!
