Very poor quality for the price. This silverware stained after 1 wash even after cleaning with microfiber cloths. After two washes, we noticed degradation of the metal itself. Avoid this product.

They are lovely. Weighty but balanced with a lovely high shine that seems very durable. The knife design is a bit odd in your hands at first, but use it a few times, muscle memory fixes it :)
I purchased the New Wave Villeroy and Boch 64-piece flatware set a couple of months ago while it was on sale. Having 12 place settings is important to me because I frequently have 8-10 people over for dinner. The modern, sleek design appeals to me, and I love the weight of each piece as I hold it. Initially I was worried that the slimness would present a problem in holding each utensil, but this is not the case at all. I would recommend this set to anyone who likes sleek, modern design.
Thin and elegant flatware at a very reasonable price. Our only quibble is the knives are much thicker and heftier than the other utensils so almost seems out of place in the set.
