Villeroy & Boch Nostalgic Melody Santa musical
I have numerous pieces of the holiday Villeroy & Boch dishes, otherwise I wouldn't have purchased yet another Christmas decoration. I got this on the after Christmas sale, I do believe. Santa is very cute and the music works well, so I boxed him up until next year.
Beautiful & festive nostalgic musical figurine
Love the Villeroy & Boch nostalgic musical figurines. I own both the Santa and the Christmas Tree figurines. They're well-made, and the music is very festive. I also bought some as gifts. Highly recommended.

Holiday Eye-Catchers at Bloomingdale's
Like many of my friends and family, I have also grown used to the ease, simplicity, and convenience of doing my holiday shopping online from the comfort of home at a time of my choosing. On the other hand, I always look forward to visiting Bloomingdales with my 'loyallist' card in hand to see what catches my eye that will make a great gift for my beloved wife and daughter. During this year's first sojourn to Bloomie's, my first stop was the home department and wow, what a treasure-trove of alternatives! Many items caught my eye, but I kept coming back to the Villeroy & Bosch display where one musical Santa Claus figurine looked like a perfect addition to my wife's collection of Santas. This particular Santa can be wound by rotating the base so that it plays a wonderful Christmas carol. To cap it all off Bloomie's offered an attractive price discount. It was really a no-brainer. A nice lady at the register placed the Santa in a beautiful blue box with tissue in it and said to me "she will love it!" with a bright smile, and off I went to find other 'eye-catchers' at Bloomingdales. My wife loves her new Santa, the first musical one in her vast collection. She is now busy planning where to display it as she decorates the house for the holidays. Thank you, Bloomie's, for reminding me that despite of how easy it is to shop online, nothing beats a trip to Bloomingdales for the holidays and other festive occasions.
