Beautiful scarf......but

Purchased this scarf and loved it. But when I tried it with items I thought blended well, the colors didn't work and it was almost too long. Can't explain it; still think the scarf is gorgeous, but it would have just sat in the drawer. Should have gone well with half my wardrobe--- orange, red, blue, black, beige and peach.
