Fit is different than last year

I have two of these dresses from last year and love them. They both fit perfectly. When I tried the same style from this season’s offerings, it’s cut differently. The waist is higher, I would call it even higher than empire. The fit is just off. I had to return it. If the fit happens to work for you, the dress is extremely soft, uncomfortable, and the colors are beautiful.
