Restrictive fabric

I bought this outfit for a special event with my husband and was very excited with how it looked on my body. I got ready for the event the day after purchasing it and tried to get in the car to leave. As I tried to sit in the car, I found that I could not sit comfortably. The fabric around my neck was so restrictive I could not wiggle around enough to find a safe way to breath with the dress secured... I tried untying it, sitting oddly curved in my seat, and other ways to make it work. Ultimately we drove 15 minutes to the closest clothing store and bought a replacement before the event. The fabric was beautiful and standing up it was stunning, but it had zero stretch and was actually unsafe to wear while sitting. I had not thought of sitting as a requirement while trying on this piece of clothing.

Vince Camuto & Macys did not disappoint me. The quality of the fabric is high end. There are little streaks of gold glitter like threads. The open back with the tie is unexpected. Great outfit for the price.
