Ideal Foundation

new formula- horrible!!!

I love Chanel Foundations and have used Vitalumiere for years in the past,then switched to the Ultra Velvet one. A few days ago i decided to grab a sample of Vitalumiere at macys to switch it up as i recall the beautiful radiant finish it gives. I noticed it has a super strong fragrance&alcohol smell right away- it never smelled this strong before. Long story short i used it for two days and this morning my skin started burning up a little at application. I still applied it and by midday i could see my skin looking super dry and patchy. face was red and super dry when i removed the makeup and i had to use a medicated cream to calm down the burning and redness afterwards.. i have never had reacyion like this from any makeup and i have used a lot of different high end foundations. i should have known better that makeup giving this strong alcohol and perfume cant be good.. Its sad considering the price point. Beware and test before using it!
