Kids bought this for me for Christmas…plugged it in right out of the box (plastic still on the screen) because I’ve heard mixed reviews about these sets. Sure enough, solid black bar about 4 or so inches wide down the left side of the screen about halfway between center screen and edge of set. Not only that, the screen was also flashing on and off after showing blinking white and black bars across the entire screen. Found some fixes online (power drain, soft reset, factory reset, etc.)…worked perfect for the white and black bars and flashing screen but the 4-inch solid black bar is still there. From what I’m reading, it’s an issue with the TC board and connections, something I wouldn’t expect to be broken on a brand new TV coming out of the box. Thankfully I didn’t take the plastic off the screen or hang it on my wall before testing it out. Kids were pretty bummed out about it since this was their gift to me. Needless to say I’ll be bringing it back and the kids will be helping me pick out a different set.

Very nice tv for the price
Just purchased my 2nd 43 inch Vizio. Works very well as a stand alone television.

Great but sound is definitely an issue.
I like all the features and the picture is great, but the sound is very lacking. It really bothers my ears. I could really use something to improve my movie watching experience!

Great TV!
I have always been a fan of the Vizio brand. I love how the picture looks. Ease of use between the app or remote. It sees my PS4 and Fire Cube. Internet is great! The only issue I have, it randomly turns on. I cannot explain it. In all, it’s my go to brand!
