solid kitchen tool

sturdy plastic, doesn't melt under heat nd the drip plug works well. glad it's dishwasher safe too

not great for thick sauces

If u r doing thick stews or chili it gets clogged. Works better for thinner stuff.

Purchased this item for holiday cooking. It was easy to use, and kept the extra fat from the turket drippings from the gravy I was making. The gravy tasted really good. It was easy to use, and easy to take apart to clean. Would recommend to people who like to cook.
