Works great under specific scenarios
Pros- -They work really well to block out harmful sounds and elevate voice. Cons- -Super annoying battery replacement alerts happen every two minutes when the battery gets low. -They make loud annoying beeps in your ear when you are connected to Bluetooth and using your phone. -Triple a batteries vs built in rechargeable. -the controls feel designed for your eyes, not for your fingers while you are wearing them.

Great features
saw the reviews from a couple of years ago that say you can't independently adjust exterior sound amplification from Bluetooth volume control. It even says they contacted CSR. NOT TRUE. If you look at the head band controls that are side facing or facing to the left vs to the back of your headband when wearing them. Those controls take care of the sound boosting tech and all your menu functions related to sound dampening. The buttons facing back on the thin edge of the headband controls all your Bluetooth connected controls for Bluetooth volume which can also be controlled from your Bluetooth connected device. Headband is a little tight if you have a big melon head but it also gives a great ear cup seal to lock out and protect your ears from dangerous noise levels. I've use them all the time at the range and also at work in loud mechanical rooms. I recommend them all the time to the guys I work with.

My favorite pair
I can’t explain how much I love these earmuffs compared to other expensive brands. I feel like they’re in their own lane when it comes to comfort and quality the feature I love most is that auto turn off because I always forget to turn them off where I go to use my other pairs from other brands they end up dead, but my walkers are always charged and ready although I do agree with some of the other reviews that say the Bluetooth should fully block everything out instead of being able to hear things that would be really nice. I also agree with the other comment the guy left I would definitely be down to test those for you if you ever make them lol

Cancels sounds
I hate the noise of the shootings. It scares me so much. These headphones protect the ear a lot. I can adjust if I want to hear outside, or I can lower the sounds. I love how comfortable they are and actually cancels the shooting noise. I was also able to see if I could speak on the phone, while shooting, and it works perfectly.

Excellent
I've had these over 8 months now. I use them for shooting and when on my mower and tractor. They work perfectly and never have an issue connecting to my phone. Sound is excellent and batteries last longer than I thought they would. This is my first Walker's and that's all I will ever own now!

Getting use to the XCEL 500BT
I got them last night. Quick review of the instructions. Paired it to my iPhone easily. The sound is pretty good. Very surprised. Learning the different modes of sound passage modes. I bought the gel ear molds. Have not installed them yet. The stock ear pads so far are comfortable. Will be taking them to the range soon. I did a lot of research online with reviews of different companies hearing protection before this purchase. I looked for everything other than Walker. Planning on buying their product. With the 26 dB noise reduction rating being the best. I bought the XCEL 500BT. Will be using these for more than just shooting. I do not trust Duracel batteries that it came with. My experience, they leak. I am an energizer battery user.
