My aunt started buying Wallace Silver Sleigh Bells in the early 70’s. She passed away more than 8 years ago and I bought her bells and continued buying one every year for my collection and also started buying each of my husband’s nieces and nephew each a bell. I have to say the bells seem a little smaller but maybe I’m mistaken. I do know that the new bells tarnish faster than the old years. Not sure if there was some sealer or polish on the older bells that protected them from tarnishing. I did clean them this year and always pack in the tissue/bag and box.

The bell is amazing. The lower rating is because of Macy's never notifying us it was in. I happened to look at my invoice and it was THE DAY it was due to be returned. I made an unexpected trip that day to pick it up.

Wallace Sleigh Bell Tradition
When our granddaughter was born in 2002 I purchased the first Wallace Sleigh Bell for her first Christmas. This year, 2023 , she will receive her 21st Sleigh Bell ! Each one as beautiful as the first. The bells are not only beautiful but a wonderful tradition between grandmother and granddaughter.
