The box was empty there was no ornament inside.

Purchase for for my wife-a special tree just for crystal- every year ((upwards of 36)
No charm with year on ornament
The ornament didn’t come with the charm that handles the year on it and the year isn’t etched on the ornament either so there is no way to tell which year it is from. I have the annual Waterford ornament for every year since 1992 and this is the first one without either the year on the crystal or on a charm. I will be returning it and getting one somewhere else that includes the charm pictured.

No Dated Gold Cuff as Described in the description
Not much of an annual ornament without the date on it someplace. Will be returning and ordering elsewhere now that I noticed several other people had the same issue with their purchase from Macy's. Also, what is the extra ribbon for in the package??
Correction
To the person who said that 2002 was the first Waterford Crystal Christmas ornament, you are off by 14 years. My wife and I started collecting them when we were stationed in England in the late 70s. Our first one is dated 1978, which I believe is the very first year they came out with the annual ornaments.

Just received my angel ornament. Have been collecting for my granddaughter for 13 years. Shocked to find box undated and ornament undated. I guess I should have read reviews. I see it is dated on other websites. And just to let you know it is not tissued the same either. Also what’s with this stray piece of ribbon? I have nothing against seconds but don’t quote the same price as everyone else. I will be returning.

Waterford ornaments are exquisite in their design, especially when they catch the light on the tree! It’s the first gift my mom opens every year.
